I am thankful you are putting these videos out there because I have severe dyscalculia it really makes mathematics a nightmare these videos are extremely helpful.
Awesome! Didn’t understand this concept for months! My teacher complicated it sooo much and this video explains it perfectly ❤ looking forward to more videos
Today, I did my math B exam horribly but now with your clear explanation. I feel confident that I will do well on my Pure math exam tmr. 💗 Your new subscriber, keep on teaching so a slow learner like me can catch up on school. I’m so grateful to YT for recommending ur channel. ✨
thank you, I have a maths exam in under 2 weeks and this really helped cover all parts of the topic, and your exam questions were really good practice :)
Thank you for the explanation, I was really confused about the topic, I couldn't understand what my teacher was explaining. Please keep the good work done ❤ I love your explanation 🤩🥰❤️❤️❤️
Today was my maths calculator paper exam. It was for 2 hours. I realised back at home that I didn't do one big question (Graph of Functions). Like I didn't even touch it. I was planning on doing it last but Time went by so fast. I literally cried and didn't have the guts to tell my parents. Feedback day is going to be a nightmare. 😢. So I'm trying to do good in the non calculator paper and other subjects to at least get an overall A. Your videos has taught me a lot. Thank you for giving me hope in maths. You teach really wonderfully❤❤❤😊
UPDATE: SHE FOUND OUT😭😭😭😭. My mom works at the school as a Account Teacher and she is CLOSE WITH MY TEACHERS. She just called (she was in school) and told me about the question. She was SO MAD😭. SHE SAID I LOST 20 MARKS!!!!!! Which isn't bad I think cuz it was out of 200 (the total marks). I'm scared for my life.
For 4:04 can’t you just times the numerator and the denominator by 4 root 6 so like the denominator of the actual fraction? Or do we HAVE to times it by the sure and not the number
For the last question and the last step, why can't you divide the 15 in the numerator by the denominator 15 so that you're left with 1, so your answer would just be -5root6
Hi. You cannot do this I am afraid. If you want to divide by 3 you must divide all terms by 3 and you have not done the root6. The best way to avoid this mistake is only cancel if you can factorise out a common factor e.g. 3x + 12 over 3y you can simply because it is 3(x + 4) over 3(y). Here you can see the 3 will cancel leaving (x + 4) over (y).
I didn’t understand one thing. In the last example, why can’t we just cancel the 15 out and be left with (-5 sqt6)? Or cancel the 3 out and be left with (-sqt6)?

Finally someone who explains it properly.. teachers in class always explain too quickly to for me to understand!
You are one of the few teachers i would love listening to, thanks for making math very easy and simple for me!
finally a teacher who nows how to explain

Hope it went well!
These videos are such a huge help !
Why is this in my recommendations when I make maths videos myself and have graduated university. Lol
incredible way to publicise your own channel🤣🤣

for the very last question and the final answer could you not simplify the two 3's at the end to become just negative root six?
I have a test tommorrow and because I'm in extension, I'm one year ahead so this really helps!
1st class math again, thanks.
This helped so much! New follower!
Welcome!
Just binge watching everything on surds for exam
I am younger than 10 and you made it so easy to understand 😊
What was my school teaching. This is way simpler and in just 40mins for the entire lesson
For 4:04 can’t you just times the numerator and the denominator by 4 root 6 so like the denominator of the actual fraction? Or do we HAVE to times it by the sure and not the number
You can do as you suggest but there is no need and you will then need to simply after by dividing it all by 4 again.
Oh tysm
At 11:11 shouldn't it be 9+3root 5 while canceling the 2
No, because the 9 is attached by multiplication and the 3 is attached to the root by multiplication. Hope this is helpful
Thank you@@deepaniliyanage4003

Can you use these methods in the video to answer questions for mathematics analysis in accountancy program
Thanks a lot for this video. Can anyone in the comments tell me where I can find such kinds of questions of 9th grade online??

Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe you could’ve simplified the last answer by cancelling out the 3s leaving you with - root 6

@@1stClassMaths So is 1 - (root 6 over 3) the "correct" simplification for this example?
@@zaadchima2209 You could do this if you wanted yes. The one I left it as in the video is also fine though.
Are you sure the last part of the video is not assessed on AQA? My Maths teacher went through an example like this and I do AQA.
I am sure. Your teacher either thinks you ought to do it (for a level prep perhaps) or they don’t know the specification as well as they should
Hi are u going to be doing gcse maths paper for this coming fast track maths NOV 2023 resit?
Thank you ❤
I need to know if this vido works for olevel students
Please upload higher paper from eduqs…
ate that up
I didn’t understand one thing. In the last example, why can’t we just cancel the 15 out and be left with (-5 sqt6)? Or cancel the 3 out and be left with (-sqt6)?
ans. is 1 - √6/3
for the last question, at the end all the three terms could be simplified by diving by 3, leaving us with -root2. Is that wrong to do?
The 6 is inside the square root so you cannot do it like this. Only if there was a 3 before the square root.
At the question 5/ 4 root 6 shouldnt you have copied 4 root 6 onto the other side instead of just root 6
No just root 6. If we did 4root6 we would the need to simplify.

You have made mistake
In that example 6 over 3 -radical 5
You said that we can do it by its obesite when you multiply it you forget the radical
Not sure what you’re saying but I haven’t made a mistake.
